Cooking shrimps?

How do you cook shrimps as I will be shrimping this weekend. Cheers keith :D :D

I just leave them in a pot of sea water until i need them, and then just whack them straight into COLD water in a pan on the hob, and then slowly turn the heat up so any shrimps still alive basically 'fall to sleep' for want of better words and then boil them until pink. They are lovely kept simple for their flavior, and it's perfectly humaine!

when I have been fortunate enough to be given fresh shrimp I usually boil them in a fish stock for just a few minutes, then serve drizzled in butter. Found this web site that you may find interesting for cooking shell fish

the old shrimpers down the farm boil pot of sea water when boiling put in the shrimps then take off the heat 2 to 3 min they will turn pink then eat as fast as you can before every body else :derek:
