Cheers guys.

Kopitecol - yeah it's a great rod (also got the 16ft)

Rabbi2 - have been looking at puting fugi rings on, just seems a bit daunting doing it. But at the end of the day it's bust so it cant get any worse I surpose !

Rod Repairs

Disaster, 3rd time out and my Diawa Long Beam rod was knocked over, breaking the inserts in 5 of the guides !. X(

Is anybody able to recommend a decent repairer in either Suffolk or Norfolk ?

Thanks.

I normally use raw tiger prawns, tesco's have them on offer at the moment, well worth a try :)

Nice, sounds like you had a good day. May have to take a drive up the coast and have a look around.

Netman - at the moment my best advice is take a couple of bottles of wine with you as it could be a long night !

Use pully rigs and lifters to minimise gear loss.

Fantastic day though, I'll give you a shout about Aldeburgh in the next week or so. With regards to the pots, I'm more than happy to check a couple your way :D

Nice write up Andy, although you forgot to mention the fit topless bird that made the trip more mamorable !

Not the most productive of days, but hay, we had a laugh hopefully Aldeburgh will give your rod some action ! :-O

No problem, will be somewhere between tramps and links.

I guess I'll be the only one on the beach, if not I've got a red RT shelter and a blue Shakey tripod :D

Hi Andy, sorry I've got stuff planned for tomorrow night.

More than happy to meet up with you for a session though, let me know when you're next planning to go and I'll make sure I'm around.
