thanks for the reply, nice to hear a decent reveiw. its too late for me, was fishing sunday and my new zziplex primo synchro blew over and the second from top ring insert popped out and the tip ring chipped was gutted as i didnt even cast it, was using a breakaway tripod thats now been made redundun...

Salt Tripod

hello all,

can anyone reccomend the salt tripod, ive ordered one but since then ive read some dissapointing reveiws about its build and stability,

i thought it was suppose to be one of the best u can buy,

just spoken to colin he said both the scars and smack marks are fishable over the low water :)

ill be targeting scars elbow i reckon

shore fishing off canvey?

hello all,

can anyone reccomend a spot or just give some info to a mark i can fish from canvey but also is able to be fished at low water,

im looking for a beach mark and not the oj, fancy a change.

i reckon your hook choice is spot on =D>

here at the thames we use 4/0 and 6/0 even 8/0 at times, i know that essex dangler uses 7/0 pennels from the jetty, :P
