hillhead bud,. just get down early as other wise you will be fighting to get a spot / unless you fish under the cliffs but its a walk!!

fished hillhead from low on the spit, between to rods we had 2 smoothies (large pups 4-5lb) and a shoal bass (small). it was a night of first and very strange going's on.. one of the hounds was caught on the same hook as the bass.. the bass came in half dead with a stone stuck in its mouth, after ex...

from east beach.. never caught one myself down there but by all accounts its a waiting game, putting the hours in week after week..
i'm sure i have heard in the past tope caught from selsey also.

daedalus slip to the left is renouned for chucking up the odd big thornie, if you are coming over to fish for doggies :-O :-/ .. try kicker (dog alley) park up at the life boat station, walk left at least 100m. my fav time is dead low up.. had so many dogs down there in the last few weeks i'm avoidi...
