It's definitely worth a go mick! However the arms can be a nightmare at weekends! Sometimes you are better on the beach! The Sunday we were there about 5 people out the 6 on the beach I saw had at least 12+ plaice each!

The cod was taken on unwashed squid, same as the skate! Is a nice size however I have donated it to my dad as i am allergic to fish sounds funny being a keen fisherman but have to deal with it!

signed it as although it is a 140 mile round trip it is one of my local beach spots! great fishing for whiting, dabs, bass in the summer and obviously the winter cod!!! would be such a shame if they were to close it!
Phil has always managed to find the fish somehow! We were fishing the same mark as you as he said he had fished it for 3 or 4 days but yesterday was his last day there and he is moving somewhere else today. Well done on your trip aswell!
