sounds good to me health being good? Only problem would be accomodation over the weekend. Looking at links on the loch etive fishing site, i cants find dates that give the friday night all seam to start from saturday. Unless there is a hotel close to loch. might get a discount for block booking?..

re boat fishing
spent a week on loch tay fishing from a boat with no luck. perhaps being able to fish deep for sea fish and shallow for trout / salmon might inprove my luck.

Re group trip
I would be up for a trip boat fishing read lots about it in press and on-line. Only problem for me is i use crutches or wheelchair, so would need help carrying my gear to boat. I have transport and lots of freetime.

i bought a few boxes of gear. working out the price it seamed pretty good ,as im teaching my son to fish lost tackel is almost every other cast.

as far as im being told arbroath area is a bit slow fish wise right now, even the boats are finding it hard. Mind you that was last weekend boat load of anglers and only 5 fish to show.

Many thanks HBFASH. As my son 7years old will be following me on some of my outings its good to know where i can take him knowing he will have a bit of saftey. A thought on Arbroath boats. wonder if i could board via the marina pontoons? Must take a trip around harbour and speak to some of the skipp...

Berkley bait
Has anyone tried this (berkley soft bait) looks like artifitial baits with added scents. As digging for bait is beyond me now i wondered if this might be the answere to my prayers.

Just joined this happy band. accident in 06 left me using crutches/wheelchair. Very much want to get back to fishing anyone know of accessable spots or boats that have easy boarding .
