fished gravesend last night at the back of the retail park, using pulley pennels and whole squid on one rod and lug squid cocktails on the other, had loadsa bites that rattled and thumped our rod tips, fished from 6pm till 10pm, had few whiting biggest was jus over a pound i reckon, lost two decent ...

i use to bait several hooklengths the night before i went coddin on the mussel beds, i froze the snoods with the mussels attached and then took them in a flask, using the genie rig clips u simply clip a new snood on whenever u need to change bait, and because there frozon they cast well cheers shane...

hi kopitecol, i will continue in my quest for a mean ground, and answer any question that gets thrown at me, with regards to the boat in question i cannot comment as i dnt really no wt the whole story is, but lets jus say he maybe is 1 bad egg out of the whole fleet, if we start catching high volume...

thanks for the post peter, trawling has more rules than any other industry, we are tracked and searched on a regular basis to ensure that we stick to these rules, overfishing is something that ccan no longer be done due to the high risks that are involved, and anyway i earn enough sticking by the ru...
