Information request please

Hi,

I am spending the weekend at Camber sands with the family & looking to escape with my rods for saturday evening.

I'd be really grateful for any local information as to where to fish and what bait to use & where to get it in that area

many thanks

good to see evidence that fish can be caught off Barge Pier - I shall definately pay a return visit

how far out do you reckon the gulley is?

where do you mean by the "brick house"??

when you say to the right do I assume correctly that you are looking out to sea?

cheers

hi leighangler

caan we safely assume that the lack of report means you're a member of the "blanked at Barge pier group"?

there is no justification for this sort of inconsiderate behaviour by anglers - undoubtedly it is a minority but we all get tarred with the same brush :(

i always have a bag with me & often take other rubbbish home as well s my own

Hi, I've heard good things about it too - I've seen seen good sized bass swimming around my feathers on a clear summers day :) however, as with my trip yesterday (and all my trip there) neither I nor the 4 other anglers caught a thing & I have never actually seen anyone catch there look forward to r...

blanked at the barge

another sunny day, freshly dug bait & a decent sized tide :D

all that was missing was the fish :(

inundated with crabs & jet skiers - I wonder if they go within 20 yards of the pier head when there isn't anyone fishing there :-/

Fishing Reports

having bought today's echo for the fishing report and seen the usual page plus dedicated to freshwater fishing and the token in the corner about sea angling I thought I's email their sports editor, Chris Phillips. Got a very polite response. Chris is more than happy to devote more space to sea angli...

blanked .... again

Took my son down to thorpe bay beach on Easter Monday. Freshly dug worms that morning, on shore breeze, bit of movement & colour in the water - so we had good reason to feel optimistic how wrong were we :( not so much as bit all day, most wworms even came back in untouched by crabs there's always ne...
