where to fish

have just had a boat trip cancelled due to weather conditions forecast for thursday :(

still fancy a trip drowning some worms locally

any of you gents know if anywhere within a reasonabe drive is fishing at all at the moment?

only advice I can offer with barge pier is don't bother :( I have fished there many times and have lost tackle but have never caught a fish or seen one being caught - other anglers there always say "you should have been here yesterday/last week" or "tides not so good today" closest I ever came to ca...

hi, I often take my kids fishing off the beach at Thorpe Bay though I am no expert. Promised my youngster at least one fishing trip over half term so armed with some (loads actually - Jetty Anglers very generous) rag & lug as well as some squid we set off for the Beach opposite the Roslin Hotel. Tried various rigs & combinations of baits for two hours with only one bite to show for...
