Sea Fishing Angling

I'd settle for a cod or codling at the moment - just want to catch something other than Whiting this winter!!!

I always thought the threshold was 5lb.

Thought I was the only one that found "Yting" to be annoying. I even find that when sending a text, I cannot use "text talk" - I prefer to use proper english. Though I am prone to the odd spelling or gramatical error.

Guess this qualifies me as a miserable old git !

Fantastic fish and a catch i would love to have had, but I too think that such a fish deserves to go back in the water, rather than me being the one who ended its long life avoiding all the things trying to catch it / eat it etc etc. Still - Hats off to the guy who caught it and I hope he enjoys eat...

Have to agree - its nice to catch but when you are casting out and the rods pinging up and down before its even touched the rest with Whiting on the hook it can become a bit of a pain and you find yourself wishing for less fish but of better quality and species. Roll on the Cod.!!!
