Have you found these combos on the internet? Personaly I don't like buying gear off the net. I think its better to go to your local tackle shop where you can handle the gear, get some good advice about the gear and local catches. Plus you are supporting a local business. Often the internest looks ch...

Firstly let me say your doing the right thing concentrating on you accuracy distance will come later. Secondly depending on where and what you f...

Yep thats pretty much what I thought. The only claim that this stuff makes that seems interesting is that it isn't a scent or flavour based spray infact it puts no extra scent in the water at all. It claims to be some sort of UV spray that increases the visibility of the bait/lure in the water and a...

FoolaFish spray anybody used it?

I don't put much stock in magic sprays, or lures (or beans for that matter) having been stupid enough to buy berkley Gulp once with no results. Still I try to keep an open mind and have come across a product called foolafish on ebay and had a look on the internet about it. Anybody tried it yet if so...

Not sure about down that way been wanting to try around east portlemouth but be warned the devon country lanes down there are longer than you think and pretty much single track the whole way. May be best to stick to slapton area Hallsands/beesands or Start piont. Posts suggest slapton has been trawl...

Might have to treat myself to some of those fancy Yo-Zuri crystal minnows and tsunami poppers for the new ye...

Don't know much about fishing Dawlish reckon you'll just have to chuck a line in and sea what you get. Your not far from the teign estury there though and both the shaldon and teignmouth sides fish well. Live sandeels are sold from a hut on teignmouth beach if your looking for somewhere to get bait....

I was down there Sunday and your right the water has been flat. Didn't catch anything but could see the the sandeels and as well as seeing on or two fish break the water feeding had a small shoal of schoolies (3 or 4) come right past the rock I was fishing off just as the dog decided to go for a swi...

I think your right about the amount the lack of respect for the environment that seems to go on at popular marks. I've only just started fishing but almost every 'popular' Mark I've visited has been strewn with rubbish and discarded tackle I've found it quite distressing at times seeing how often th...
