Had yet another charter boat cancelled for tomorrow, thats not one charter trip Ive been out on this year!what a pile of poop! cant wait to see the back of this year as far as fishing is concerned, might take upgolf instead!

hello mate, I had a nice 3 pounder , sund ay before last high tide just as the tide started to run out, just ledgering with rag and off she went, was further up , near the horse and jockey, hope this helps

bass up the hamble

hey all, went out for couple of hours earlier, up the Hamble near the horse and jockey, not a lot moving in the way of mullet etc, but after bout an hour hooked into a lovely 3lb bass, good scrapper and landed with success, will try to put photo on but only had my phone with me and not too sure how ...

hamble mullet

hello all, me and my mate took the canoe out yesterday afternoon, thought we would try for one of mullet we keep hearing about, anyway put the onion sack over the side and twenty minutes later my mate hooked into a mullet of roughly 4lb, I can honestly say Ive never seen a fish go like that, awesome...

well done on the catch, but where is the causeway? I myself was up early only to find myself let down by my mate, so ended up by cobden bridge, with a loony jack russel, managed to catch diddly! peaceful though

hello all, an old boy told me last year that he was having some decent bream out the mouth of the hamble using slipper limpet at low tide, I was wondering if anyone else had heard this or has had any luck

I agree with you fishitus, cant use live sandeel or a powered vessel in bass nursery so think you are ok with kayak

well lads I just caught my first bass of the season, saw the old whitebait jumping out the water down weston shore, got out my trusty 9 foot spinning rod and silver mepps and landed a 6 inch beauty, its a start!
