Me having a moan

The one thing that gets up my nose on forum!!!!!! Why make catch reports without saying where? Only saying fished mark A,B, or C. Or you know where I saw you last full moon ect. Its of no use to anybody as they dont have a clue wher the person was. If it was a good catch (it only seems to happen on ...

But in daylight they stay at range so a long cast is needed. Then again on the day the fish my do everything ...

I agree Keith I just wanted to make people think a bit. I would not use a beach multi off a pier it would not be up to it. Would guess a boat type reel would be good as the fish are under your feet (this is just a guess as I dont pier fish much) How has the move gone? when are we all out again? Sorr...

The way I look at it is. Long range casting is just an other string to your bow. I agree cast to where the fish are (not talking about pier here but beach) if they are 30yrd 0r 60yrds cast that far if they are 150yrds cast that far. The only guys who bang on about not having to cast far are usualy t...

I know what you mean about guessing casting distance. When I first measured 100yrds on the field it was a hell of a long way. If it was not for the fact it was a true measure I would have sworn it was 150yrds or more. Anyway back to the topic. just read a fishing mag he said I cast long to 200yrds t...

Ok two things. Did you know that in Spain and Portugal they introduced a sea licence(its europe pushing for it). Sales of fishing gear fell 50%, and worse of all halve the money raised from the licence was given to the trawlermen to help them!!!!!!! sea fishing over here is covered by the magna cart...

Sorry mate if you want it for long range casting, the CS is a waste of time as you cant wrap your thumb round the spool to stop it slipping and the level line will knock upto 40yrds of your cast it a CT type or nothing sorry. Oh and use a mag reel. dont put any of the brakeblocks on not needed just ...
