Yeh i was wondering the same thing...i am going to try the same thing this year when it gets a bit warmer from whitby pier. Last year some big pollack was caught from there, one of them 18 pound, and they were caught on a simple jelly worm!

Yeh i was thinking about doing the same thing for a few weeks because i found myself in the same boat, but then i thought, well if you dont try at all then you certainly wont catch anything! :) And i suppose i think a reward for sticking out so many blanks is due so im expecting a nice plump cod or ...

Thats just what happened at Paull on saturday...every bait you can think of we through at em...but nothing, perfect conditions but nothing! I meen what can the fish be eating, and even better were are they! :-/

Fished Paull

reached Paull at 10:50 so we could fish 2hr before and after high tide which was at 12:50. Used 2 rods both with three hook flappers bited with cocktails of mackral, lugworm and squid. Immingham saturday

Just got back from immingham. Fished 6 while 5 over high tide using two hook flapper rigs. The bait was mostly cocktails of squid,lugworm,mackral and razor fish. But to cut along story short me and my dad completly blanked! :( However it was still a great day as we had brought sum matches and a fire...

Yeh..same here, me and my dad try to get the closest as well. We have started fishing at immingham on the humber...it only teks us 45 mins so we have started going there...but sometime at the end of this week we fancy a change so were going to try hornsea an all.

Hi Devvo... If ya can't get any fresh, try some frozen. The guy in the indoor market in Cas does all the stuff from BaitBox and he's cheap for an inland shop. About a quid cheaper on everything, than the robbers at Featherstone. Cheers greydays, i no the one your on about i got my seat box from him...

Hi, i just wounder if anyone knows any good companies in which i could perchuse lugworm? I no you can dig it at spurn and i keep saying to myself... the next time i am near spurn i will have ago at digging it but iv never got round to it. or alternativlly has anyone got any spare lug they maybe able...
