fished st marys . high water at 3. a nice 6.4 tide didnt stop raining all afternoon and windy but it coloured the water up nicely used 2 day old blow lug that was half dead but worked nicely an hour and half before high water had a nice 3 pound bass taken at distance, my biggest here for a couple ye...

the longest i av managed to keep them alive in freshly changed sea water in a bucket is about 2 hours. you sure it werent just nerves. several fish appear alive but its just nerves. admittedly some fish can be kept alive for hours like eels and flounders in sea water but i av never heard of doggies ...

fished deal yesterday, the 18th. fished 4 hours up and 1 over.
had 3 dabs, 1 rockling and loads of whiting.
got drenched and then froze when the weather cleared but at least did better than last week!

got down to walmer and started fishing by 10, high water at 1.30. basically left at 1.30 after not having a single bite. tried lug, squid, herring and mackeral, not a sniff, baits coming back totally untouched. water was very clear, no colour at all. hardly any tide run and no weed. very unusual for...

welldone on the doggies mate. i aint fished the breakwater for years. i have read on other sites that there were a few good codling came off there the weekend. i gonna give walmer a go this weekend for some dabs and maybe a codling.

fished from 1.30 till 6.
used lug and rag
weed was horrendous, really bad
still managed 3 schoolies, 2 whiting and a rockling
so not a complete waste of time
will probably try walmer next week for some dabs
