Fished it a few times. Imagine you mean alongside the civic centre south of the bridge? To be honest I blanked everytime, although have heard of decent bass in the summer from there, but then we,ve all heard tales of good fish!!! The bridge itself causes some strange currents which make the river ru...

I'm not sure but my guess is, assuming you're talking about cod. I think fish migrate due to water temps and food. Cod come this far south as our waters cool. In the Thames they come up for a food bounty of spratt, so we catch them coming in but then catches slow as they gorge on spratt. As the wate...

Shame Fishing is already hard enough, considering weather, tides, fish migration and less fish, now we have to deal with societies idiots! Have to say there are some places I don't like fishing at night due to that sort of thing, especially if i am camping. I always go for remote places away from th...

Hi
Maidstone Angling centre did one for me, took about ten minutes. Only charged me for the ring.
Anglers Den in Gillingham do rod repairs, don'y know if they'll do it while you wait.
Hope that's some help!

Hythe 27/02

Hi All Day off today and couldn't decide where to go! On the M20 it was looking like Dover or Hythe, and ended up at Hythe again because at least it hasn't been blanking! Fished two up two down, high tide about 12. Tackle form Mick's was great today, bought common lug and massive yellowtails. Caught...

Thought about fishing Medway with lug left from Sat but decided to let the fish I didn't catch at hythe have a feast!

Good few times I have driven down the coast then caught more the day after in the medway with left over bait.
Things will pick up soon!

Wow, don't think it cost me that much for a boat trip last year! Still would like to give it a go, but somehow doubt I could afford to be a regular! Thanks for the info though and good luck if you fish it again Regards Martin Ps I haven't found Admiralty too bad but maybe I've been lucky, did have t...

Hi
I have once. High tide venue only as I remember. Caught an eel and small bass last summer.
Most people would head for Dungeness or Dengemarsh as they are very close to Littlestone, and probably fish better.

Hythe 21/02

Hi All Three of us fished close to the fishing boats in Hythe, 5 til 9.30 high tide. 10 fish, all small, dabs, whiting and rockling. Used lug from Mick's Tackle and frozen squid. All fish were caught close on 3 hook flappers, I personally blanked fishing bigger baits at distance on a one up - one do...

Hi! Put it all together you'd have fruite du mere!!! Sorry it didn't fish well but we live and learn!!! I read an article in Sea Angler magazine by Shane Pullen about Dengemarsh. I've fished it with no joy at all, apart from mackeral in the summer. He goes there in daytime and catches decent codling...

Hi
I fished Hythe and had 7 fish, nothing big though. Same day there was a post on here reporting 30 fish between two of them near Hythe, again nothing big.
Hope that helps!

Hi Think I'd fish Admiralty over Prince of Wales everytime! Read that the breakwater is good, although never done it as you have to get a boat out to it which leaves about 8.30 and collects about 3.30, although check the net for actual times, details etc. Problem is you are stuck there til the boat ...
