i will be fishing the shingle bank thursday night and friday night will let you know how i get on. will be fishing high tide to low. when the tide starts to flood it can become unfishable with the stronge tide and weed.
fished maggy lane friday night with a mate we both had loads of pout and whiting pulling fish in almost every cast. getting bites as soon as baits hit the water. all the fish looked in really bad condition covered in black spots and scales falling off and all of them had worms attached to them. anyo...
well done on the pb i also had my first spotted ray at milford on sea last friday. it took half a macky fillet in close that was meant for a bass didnt put up much of a fight felt like a big lump of weed. lol
if your going to fish the shingle bank or castle pick a neap tide or you wont be able to hold bottom fish tide up at the castle and fish tide out on the shingle bank. tide not so bad if you fish the white house or hordle end. hope this helps
thanks for the info struggler. if the weather stays fine i will be giving it a go. last time i fished the bank i didnt even get a bite so will be happy just to catch anything. let you know how i get on
nice session well done. i fished the shingle bank thursday night had a dog and a pout had lots of bites as soon as it got dark. i tried again on friday night but caught nothing only had 2 bites that i missed
