Usually the dabs appear around our shores late october time. might be a few there but not much.

nope not much weed at all really, only a big of weed right at the top of the tide.

Went last night, high tide was about 11.30ish and we got down there at 8 to fish the last 3 and a half hours left of the tide. Fished the bay straight down the all saints road cliff but i dont think many of those bays have snags apart from when you go up to the boats where you are aking for trouble ...

fishing tonight at pakefield, hopefully catch a early season codling.

for my sole and flattie fishing i have in the past used my 4lb tc spod rod, lovely to fish with, but boy do you know when you have a bass on

Good report mate, nice to see there are some whiting about, up lowestoft way there are tons of small whiting (sprats sized) about.!

Hi mate, i got there at about 6ish so i had 2 hours of the high tide left then fished 1 hour going down, i used 3 hook flappers on both rods with the bottom 2 hooks baited with just rag and the top with fresh herring which i caught one of the sole and the bass on.

It was a small/medium lobster so i just put it back!, i was dissapointed because i thought i had a lovely sole on...

After hearing of some decent sole coming out i couldn't resist to go get some rag and go after them! After getting a few rag, i got down the beach about 7.15pm so i had around an hour of ebb tide and 2 hours going up. as soon as i got down there the beach was fairly calm with light winds.
