Anyone fishing in the next week?

As i have christmas holidays now i can do a couple of sessions, looking to fish hopton and tramps alley in the next few days and hopefully catch a few cod ;)
Anyone else thinking about going out to drown some worms during the christmas period?

I was pretty happy because most of the whiting had vanished because it has been quite rough, so if i got a slack liner or a good pull i knew it would be a codling.

It seems that the weed is worst on the high tide but when the tide swings and ebbs the weed doesn't seem that bad.
