hi. i am also doing chesil on 20th to 22nd march. always fancied it. am going in camper van so i hope its easy to park for the weekend! i will be taking rag,lug,squid and sand eel. oh yes, and my son!! any info or tips would be helpfull.. phil. B-)

bass can be anywhere. From under your feet to 150 feet of water! For spinning i would use a shallow diving lure. silver and/or black work best for me. if the water is still a popper on the surface can produce! yes. wrasse take limpets.[the wierd ones]. flatties take mussels. if your getting your own bait try peeller crab. (soft under shell) low spring tides are best to collect them.
