myself and wintermancod fished the evening tides at the pier the 16th and 17th oct and this is how it went 16th arraived down pier at 6ish to fish last hour of the flood and the whole ebb tide, wind north easterly and sea had a good swell running so decided to fish the stem. yes it's a totally different ball game as yes ill use size 8's - 6's when carp fishing but then get a nice 2/0 ta 4/0 in ya hand its like holding a boat anchor but you'll soon get the use of it good luck for your advantures and anything you need answering theres loads of people on here that can help...
