it seems that the cod dont want to show this year so looks like a poor year all round, well done for giving it another go fella. im going to try 1 last go wed afternoon, evening during these winds to see if i can finally manage myself a decent 1

when you commented on worms popping when putting them over your hook then the suggestion would be tag ends, as for whipping them on then the only hook i whip on is the top pennel hook to make it fixed with some shrink tubing and i now use some tubing between the top and bottom hook to stop the crabs...

if your having problems with worm's popping as your taking them over the hook eye then you may find it would of been your tag end on the knot not cut short enough to the eye,, best thing to do would be to use a grinner knot which then has the tag end poking out the top of the knot so the worms shoul...
