i used teklon gold for a time it's good .45 on my multi with no shock-leader on my local beach as it gets weedy some times and shock-leader knot would get trapped in the end eye with the weed but fishing this line did not need a shock-leader think .45 was 40.1lb but yes its good but pricey

Where's Racarred bay? go up the m6 to gratna take a75 to castle douglas then the a745 to the traffic lights then go on to the a711 to auchencairn go though the village for about 300yrd then there's a turning to the left says rascarrel farm turn here follow the road to the bottom there' a turning on...

Over the years I like most used to carry all the stuff I could (just in case I needed it) and I still see people loaded down with tackle boxes, enormous tripods, a couple of rods, bait buckets,seats and God knows what other paraphernalia. Now I tend to enjoy my fishing be carrying as little as poss...

OK there phesantplucker the best all round for beach and rock fishing is a rod of around 13ft any longer and it makes it hard to cast from rocks and 13ft is ok on the beach i'm not going in to this is the best rod or don't get that rod like some .go to you're locale tackle dealer and try one or two ...

try putting the braid though the swivel twice then use a 5 turn grinner knot it works for me
