Cullen is a good mark for flatties with the odd turbot being caught there , If you go into the little tackle shop in cullen you can buy bait but I always get good local advice from the owner as to where to fish and what is being caught tight lines PS best bait for the beach is lug and maccy

in my area you are allowed up to 4 pots as a leisure fisherman and can take home 1 lobester and 2 crabs without a licence so chek out your local rules - if I am fishing from the local pier I will drop down pot and collect it when finished and sometimes supper is of the fresh shellfish variety

Thanks for the advice guys - :) I really like the zippy so having it whipped for the F/S may be the way forward -I would prefer to have someone do it for me so I will start looking in to it -Steve

I have been fishing with a A ZIPLEX DYMIC hst with a 525 mag I have a medical condition that has got worse so Im now unable to lay line on the multi - My question is - can I fit a fs reel seat on the rod and if so will I loose a lot of the zippy power or have any other problems ?
