well - I had a busy night Iwas baiting up both rods constantly I must have had over a dozen coalies from 5oz -1lb i was using pennel rigs and sometimes I had one on top hook and one on bottom one- I did get a couple of codling around 2 lb -all were returned to fight another day

conditions are looking good tonite and water is murky so Im heading out around 10pm -going to my fav mark and hoping that tonite is my turn at the coddies :D

If I dont put up a report -you all know what has happened :((

Well I am hoping to get out this weekend -the forcast is that the east coast will take a battering fri/sat but Sunday is looking good for the cod - However just been down to the sea front and the water is very murky and flat as a pancake so all my gear is packed and will just wait in limbo til an op...

Mac had a life jacket and floaty suit on I got knocked over about three times It may sound unsafe for most but I know this area well and know when to fish and when -not to . so I was safe with my experience of the conditions and in no danger of being taken by the sea just a sore a*** I set up at 1-3...

Heading down fri/sat for a shot at some of the earlies its been blowing a gale from the east /south east so heres hoping -some of the marks will be very unsafe if the SE WIND contiues so if anyone is heading that way BE SAFE and dont go alone ...........Steve
