Hi boxerman -try fishing the bay in line with the chimmney /stack from the works behaind the bay - red cod pollack flatties and maccys can be had -but it is very snaggy - rotten bottoms and flappers give you options , fish baits best and sandeels off the bottom -steve

I will wait a week and see if anyone else is intrested -and post up a thread on a days boat fishing on Etive . Then we can look at dates to suit and that boats will be available and get them booked

over 16 species in the loch are you fishing from the shore or on one of dougies boats ? i am out on a boat this weekend best baits maccy or squid on hookais min size 2/0 hooks from boat for spurries and maccy for thornback rays and conger fishing from the shore try Finarts bay check it on the map or...

was to meet up with friends 10 am - clocks went forward -so after 11 they arrived -I fished first mark on my own and the sea was clear and no wind so set up float rig and let it drift around close to the big skewers and rocks -one fish a coalie around a pound -and that was it for the rest day -frien...

out and about rock hopping on east coast tomorrow -not been out for several weeks so a bit of a recce - I am going to have a go with a float for a change and experiment with various rigs and baits - fingers crossed :D
