well i dont mean proper bass i mean those annoying ones where you can help catch 3 at a time on a 3 hook trace, even worse when they dont get past 3cm

I prefer to fish kilve 2 hours before and 2 hours after low tide because you loose less tackle on the bottom of the tide and you can pick up tackle youve lost as the tides going down.
ive caught conger there in the summer in daylite, but never tryed it in the winter before.

are tere any flounder showing in the exe as i know theres been alot of rain recently and 2 of my trips failed miserably with just eels and bass?

The man in my tackle shop told me that the smaller fish will take worms and the bigger whiting will prefer fish baits, but i never found any conclusive evidence of this in a session.

I find when catching whiting and pouting, they dont survive even if they are lightly lip hooked because they are such delicate fish. one session we were catching whiting and releasing them, most were lip hooked, and as the tide dropped back there was a line of dead whing along the beach. :( so i thi...

it might be a bit far but the exe estuary is good for lugworm and there quite a few snake white that turn up.
