going to give this area a try sat afternoon high tide, wind from the west.
can any of the locals advise me how to get down to some of these marks i,e dimmo

just bringing this topic back up so that any new members can see it and maybe come along to the fun weekend

ive got one only used the boat rod 30lb class a bit stiff will be trying the peir sections out at holyhead on the camping trip ,but for the price you are getting a selection of rods all in one bag.
will let rabbi have a look at it and see what the expert says

never actually brought any fish home to eat. do you gut the fish before you freeze them or do you gut and fillet then freeze.

i am going to give the coast a try on saturday,as im only a "fisherman"from inland i thought i would waste my money and throw a few worms at the sea,maybe i`ll get lucky and catch more than weed.but i`m not bothered its the day out away from city life .will post a report whatever happens ,blanked la...
