Hi Mark.
If you would like help in getting started, put a post on the sea fly fishing forum. I'm sure you'll get all the help and advice you need. If you have a try with the fly, you won't regret it.

Very kind of you to offer your time and help, MRAJ.
I can only single haul at the moment and would like to be able to double haul if you can help with that.
I'm out of action just now with a bad shoulder but should be fighting fit by January and would be keen to meet up.

Cheers

With a name like 'Ace of Spads' sounds like you could be from a flyfishing background. Have you thought about salt water flyfishing as well as bait?
I am sure you would like it!!

All the best.

If the weather stays this mild it's got to be a possibility. In answer to your question Shannock, it's a bit like the chick...

Nice photo, some really interesting looking flies! I'm off to Oz at xmas so no doubt a visit to some local tackle shops is on the cards. Booked a swff trip in Sydney Harbour last night and then fell through scaffolding at work today and dislocated my shoulder!! Hopefully the casting arm will be back...

Well done bassfly! Sounds like my kind of Sunday stroll. I fished the shore by the life boat station along to the marina a week past Sunday with no luck. Saw some mullet moving in the sandy bay past the marina and had a follow from a garfish but no sign of bass. I couldn't fish Sandy point as 10ft w...
