At last, some settled weather, albeit only briefly so. Headed straight to a Solent mullet mark from work yesterday evening, in the hope that the improved weather might tempt a Thicky or two onto the flats. Fish are still a little thin on the ground, I'm afraid. Its going to be a case of stealing a few hours if the wind drops, I reckon. Might bump into you at Hayling on Tues lads.

At Last!

Fished a nice rip this afternoon, hoping to spot a mullet or two. A small shoal suddenly broke surface and a schooly grabbed the red tagged Diawl bach on the point. I'd almost forgotten what aggressive little blighters they are. After a brief spell of sport, the shoal and the rip faded away.
