good for thornbacks to at low water but hav to be carefull as fishing off peat ledges . Best to go with a local as there are some soft spots on the way out tight lines :D :D oh by the way its muddy very very muddy be carefull and have fun ps have seen some fishing off the sea wall when big springs 1...

have fished all around saundersfoot used to go to collect black lug from the beach at saundersfoot to the right of the harbour entrance .I dont know if there are still there due to the sewage being cleaned up but they were crackers used tp pump them out also was good for razor fish 2 anyways hav see...

Its always safer to tie braid to 30 - 40 feet 30 - 40lb momo some call it the rubbing line, braid dont like rocks at all so the idea is that the mono takes all the rough stuff and can be replaced when damaged bit like a shock leader i suppose the best knot 2 join the rubber is a double grinner stron...

garmin use them all the time can be linked up 2 gether plotter, fishfinder, etc can down load onto memory card waypoints etc and just plug um in easy peasy :D

hi all i think u will find that the mackie traces are heavy line because its stops the feathers tangling i wouldn t try with light line snoods thats for sure . when i make up my traces say for a 3 hook flapper i always use 30lb trace line maybe im doing it wrong haha never seem to catch much these d...

basic float rig would be starting on the main line 1 bead ,Float , bead , weight , bead . swivel , to this tie ur hook length and hook then tie a stop knot on ur main line then slide this to the depth u require ok expect others got other ideas they will advise 2 ok welcome to the forum mate tight li...

Fished aboard TOPCAT 2 on sunday fish were hard to come by with only 3 plaice ,1 dogfish , 1 small pollack,1 bass just over the limit ,1 red gurnard and 15 or so mackies and 1 herring so all in all pretty dire day fish wise urs truly well dint hav a bite all day but i was not the only one lol were 8...
