HI Rayza. Not fished it for a while but best baits are usually yellowtail lug (you can usually get some wrapped from Anglers Den) and slipper limpets (after a blow) - specially for the flounders and bass. You can pick up plenty of limpet at low water and you can pump yellowtails there too. Squid str...

Dymchurch

Anyone fished Dymchurch low water up recently? I know that at the right time of year codling/whiting or flats are catchable there from low up and was thinking of giving it a go on Saturday afternoon. Anyone got an up to date report? Cheers. Kev[/code]

Shoreham W Sussex 28/2

Gave it a go at Shoreham west harbour arm yesterday with my brother, 2 friends and my nephew. Weather lovely (sea flat calm), freshly dug lug, whites and maddies plus squid, slipper limpet and mackerel - one sea scorpion to my nephew was the total score to 8 rods! No-one else (must have been 20 othe...

Cod in the South

Admiralty Pier is good between now and Christmas but there are strong tides requiring heavy fixed wire leads to hold bottom. You'll also need a drop net. There are plenty of local tackle shops in Dover where you can pick up lug. Not a difficult drive to get there from Epsom - I live in Carshalton an...

Admiralty Pier

Thinking about fishing Admiralty Pier but heard that it gets overrun by Eastern Europeans keeping and killing all they catch. Is that only in the summer? Really fancy some of the codling that lugpump pulled out but don't fancy fishing in a scrum....is it packed all the time?

Lugpump We were also fishing Norman's Bay - just in front of the parking area (the comp was either side of us). We were told at Anglers Den that it was going to be at White Houses - otherwise we'd have fished there, as it's more sheltered from a strong westerly. I blanked but my brother had a 1lb tu...

Thanks - may see you there. Hoping for some bass if we get a bit of a blow. Any flats around?

Fishing Pevensey Bay & Norman's Bay ?

New member of this forum - first post!

I'm looking to fish Sunday's early afternoon tide at Pevensey/Norman's Bay. Anyone fished it recently? Any good? :-/
