Looking for mussel beds over the weekend, know any??

Decided to try to find some plaice along the coast (Closest to Southampton)
Any suggestions of a good mussel bed area that can be fished from the beech?
I don't really want to travel more than 30 miles if I can help it.

Can't say I have heard of anybody catching plaice there.
they tend to hang around on or near Mussel beds.

There is a section of shoreline at West Bexington where there is a vast Mussel bed this would be the best place for Plaice
