I was at Maggy lane 7am today and found the remains of lasts night competition. :( 6 doggies thrown onto the concrete slabs & a few laying in the rocks, they were barely alive, the sun was drying them out, I put them back in the water and a few of them swam away, the others were too weak to swim and...

Just trying to improve the odds in my favor, not a lot of point heading in the wrong direction to fish when i'm drivi...

If this is the case, does this apply to many other species? I heard from a guy that said once our mackerel ...

Fishing Report 19/4/09 at Hurst shingle

Fished 6hrs at Hurst shingle with a mate today, we used rag/squid/mackerel/sand eels and didn't get a single bite :(( Even got out my bass rod and tried lures & a variety of coloured Dexter wedges on the rocks, still nothing. :( After hitting a massive blanking spell I'm refusing to go fishing again...

Fishing report 11/4/09 at Elmer, Bognor Regis

After looking at google earth and finding a awesome bit of coast line I headed to Elmer, Bognor Regis. Doing a search on this forum for catch reports came up with nothing. Once I got there I found out why .... Private estates, No excess to the beach, No Parking, No Turning etc. This theme applied to...

Hooklineandsinker. Best option for lure fishing is at the far eastern end of the beach on the rock groyne - as the tide floods over it (or ebbs back) bass will often be lying in wait. Alternatively, you could wade out over low tide and plug/spin over the rocky patches further out. There aren't any ...
