Fishing report for Town Quay 23/5/09

Plenty of people fishing, 30 rods out and only a few fish being pulled in. :| However 'JumpPack' managed to pull this little beauty out. http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/streetmech/doversoul.jpg This is the 2nd Dover soul that I have seen in 3 days, the previous one was at Maggy lane, so they...

I can't believe the ferry would operate so close to the quay, you would have thought they would have put up some 'No Fishing' signs as it's navigational waters used constantly, everybody knows fishing and ships don't play well together. ;) Perhaps they could use something like this. http://i129.phot...

I thought that Sea Angler magazine recently said that you shouldn't run your engines out of the water because it does something nasty to something (spot the ignoramus being vague!). The impeller? Cheers, Tokai This is indeed true, I wrecked a good engine when I was a teenager and didn't know better...

I use a product called Sta-Bil, it prevents fuel from going stale.
It keeps fuel fresh for up to 12 months or more, works out a lot cheaper than throwing away stale fuel.

My local car accessory sells it (about a fiver a bottle)

Today I was at Hurst shingle fishing on that big pile of rocks, got nothing. 2 hrs later I moved down to Barton...

Hi Daffy, I tried using lures & plugs at Hurst last week and had no luck :( Yesterday I returned to Hurst for another attempt, I forgot one of the golden rules (ALWAYS check the wind strength and direction!), the waves were smashing onto the beach, totally unfishable (although I did try for 30 mins)...

Not too sure if anybody will take notice of any signs put up with fish size limits.
Could try a 'Test' one next to the 'No Fishing' signs at Town Quay ;)
