Got to Maggy Lane around 8am, fished by the new bit of wall (it's now open), got a small poor cod after 2hrs, no sign of the bass today. Got to Hurst Castle at 7:30am, after 20 minutes caught a small channel whiting on squid, for the next 6 hours I had nothing, no bites.
I tried Rag, Squid, Sand eel, Mackerel.
Nothing was touching the bait, not even crabs.
Decided to pack up and go home.

I just got back from there (11/10/08), I caught 6 whiting, 1 poor cod and a pout (yeah just one .. I couldn't believe it, normally that's all I catch) lost plenty of gear as normal, I fished the beech area as the tide was out when I got there (stayed from 4pm to 8pm) Plenty of people setting up for ...
