if your going spinning then you dont need to be casting 3oz. heavy spinners are usually just 60g max, most are lighter. also, you wont be putting huge pressure on the line with spinners so a leader isnt a neccesity, just a preferance if you use a good quality fluro line it will have better abrasion ...

make sure you tie a few rocks to it so it sinks. it works for sharks off the boat so have some big hooks with you, just in case :D :D

i only have the green so cant comment on the others,
its easy to use in most conditions, hasnt broke on me yet and its easy to maintain. parts are also easy to come by if you need them but are for most of them id imagine.

both will do for it but the red will make the bearings spin slower, yellow spins them quicker. just one drop is enough onto each bearing.
in warmer weather the oil will thin out more so some people use red in summer and yellow in winter.
