I fished the day tide last Friday and had 2 doggies, and numurous dabs.

No Ray for me either! It will come though - I hope!!

I don't think it is a matter of getting past them more getting through them. I fished Dungeness and Hythe a lot this winter for Cod and a lot of the time you are plagued with Whiting no matter how far you cast. Whiting are ripe in numbers throughout the Autumn and Winter and come mid Spring things c...

If you are driving the road you want is Princes Drive at the back of the golf course.

You can park up and your car will always be in view from the beach.

Fishing Sandwich Bay - Friday

Hi everyone,

A lot of you don't know me but I am off to Sandwich Bay this Friday daytime. High tide is about midday. I am fishing 3 hours up and 2 down by the 10th green. :-w

Anyone up for it??

There has been a short supply of bait in some places around the south east lately. Well from what I have noticed!

If you find a shop, I would suggest ordering over the telephone 3-4 days in advance.

The Cod season is fast approaching but I would warn that there is still a Whiting plague in Dungerness. I fished Dungie at the last weekend. At present it does not matter how far you cast. At one point I decided to fish 3/0 pennel rig with whole squid and still hooked the bloody things! I have heard...
