Cheers mate, what bait do you use ?

Anyone know what the fishing is like down there ? and the nearest bait shop.

Ive only just started fishing properly mate tbh, everytime ive walked over there the tide has been going out lol so have to fish in the little streams which lead out to the thames. See loads of grey mullet coming up and down, havent caught yet though :( but it is suppose to be ok when the tide is in...

Went down there, tide was out so fished in the stream near the sewer bank lol nothing at all.

island bait claim warden point (car park right on the shore just up from leysdown) is the hot spot on the island at the moment. as you reach the shore head left under the cliffs, part of the cliff juts right out. it alledgedly fishes well, saw some guys drag a couple of thornbacks into their boat, ...
