Which way

I have often thought about bait presentation, I personaly care about this as the maximum must be obtained from the minimum concidering what it cost's. Which way round? birds seem to turn their food to suit themselves, the Heron will turn his fish so the scales do not abraid his throat, do fish like ...

Hi Matt, Athough I do not live near Bawdsey I have fished it a few times. I have not ventured any further than the ferry, never needed to, there is decent hard stands close by & deep water far out. because it is esturial there is one hell of a tidal flow & anchors do not hold very well. Fish at the ...

You have asked a question that many have asked & indeed puzzled over for many years past, I have been fishing for so many years & have tried to work out the best times to fish. Boat traffic must have an effect on fish habits, when the tourist's turn up with their surf boards & jet ski's it's general...

I quite agree with what has been said on this subject both now & when the licence row first got going. I was also trawling during the cod war albeit with an Icelandic company & experienced magnificent specimen fish coming aboard, because Britain allowed the sale of British fishing licences to foreig...

To be sure of the combination, you could have a cracking rod & a brilliant reel individualy but if the combination is mismatched then you are going to lose balance & the ability to cast well. I would & have done in the past is to look at other peoples combination & see how they handle them, if you p...

All services whatever they are, all goverment bodies including fire brigade, ambulance, police & indeed the military services are alloted a budget per annum. This budget is to run the individual units day to day, the goverment parties, ie councils, hospitals etc must spend that amount alloted or the...

Once I have got food down my throat there is no way that I am going to let it back up, not with the price of it, I'm to tight. Seriously though I am one of the lucky ones I don't seem to be affected by sea sickness I have seen some lads that have been really poorly to the point that the skipper has ...

I am afraid that the sound of this fish raises alarm bells. I watched a report & have heard rumours about the Snakeshead, this a fish that although lives in fresh water does have the effect of clearing any water of food & breeds at a incredeble rate, this fish also come from the East. The tedency is...

I agree with what the boys have advised, what I tend to keep in my fishing bag is the small polystyrene balls, the same which is used for packing. Placing a small piece of the poly on the hook length will if you have the ratio right [ bait size to poly float] this will float the bait off the sea bed...
