They say the chocolate ones are the best :D

Seriously I have heard of these but have not heard the results, although looking at them a couple of secure knots & standard swivels would I think do the same. I am sure we will welcome your report. Will

Don't spray the Thompsons on the lawn, it kills grass a treat. I sprayed my stuff & I had a square of lawn that turned brown after 3 days, 3 months later & it is just growning back.

I have not long bought a 16'6'' Shakespear 3 piece not the K series but still a good rod. I found that a multiplier on it did not work well but the fixed spool did & I obtain very good distance & control. The only thing against it for me it is a bit lightweight I am used to a heavy rod but a good ro...

There are out there & I have used them in the past, long tailed anchor weights, I think that they were designed for rocky places. The ones that I have are long enough to have a feeder on them, possibly straighten out the fixing wire to allow the feeder to be attached then re-eye the wire, this shoul...

This occurence of glowing light in the water has been around as long as I can remember, I first asked the same question as you, what is it way back in the 1950's. It may be of interest to know that this bioluminescence also occurrs on land as well, it can be found in damp areas where rotting vegitab...

The choice in the end will be your decision. The car park at Weybourne is a pay & display daytime whereas Salthouse is still free, both are easy access. If you choose Salthouse then either side of the carpark are much the same depthwise, Weybourne is slightly deeper water. To the far right of Weybou...

Sat at Shingle St

Matt [bigfishhunter] & I went to Shingle St on Saturday. I have always fished Bawdsey because of the ease of parking, toilets & it was convenient. Recently it was decided to try Shingle St, the venue was trialed some weeks ago at the top of tide, you may have read Matts report on the day & how he ru...
