latest news is that a couple of double figure cod have been landed from Redwick in the last few days.This is great news and I hope it continues through the season.I'll be at Redwick this Saturday,11 o clock (pm) tide and 11.5m,PERFICK...;)

New toy..

Sadly my much trusted and old Petzl headlight has joined the great headlight in the sky...sniff.....but alas I now have a new toy to play with :) Today,after giving my poor Petzl the sending off it deserved (10 years+ faultless service....sniff) I've invested in a Speleo Nightraider...AND THEN SOME!...

Redwick and Goldcliffe - Fishing Report

September saw some nice ray being caught from Redwick and codling are now showing at Goldcliffe.Both venues should see improved catches for cod around this time so i'm going to give Redwick a bash on Sunday.I'll post a report as soon as I return.

both bass and cod will take squid baits.Estuary bass can be a little finicky though,so you might want to try smaller squid or squid strips with a cocktail of worm,or better still peeler crab.This time of year see's good results for bass with a bunch of small rag and will also entice flatties too,but...
