Hi, just got back this morning from hols, didnt get the chance to go fishing so nothing to report. the weather was the reason i booked, im booked on the 10th, but cant be sure what its going to be like. I tend to feel the cold now, but worse than that wind is the problem, and i think its going to pick up soon. its been a poor year so far, so im hoping to catch something worthwhile. fingers crosse...

I'm off to Cleethorpes tomorrow, but on tuesday my nephew Mark (paramedic) and brother vinny are coming down for the day, so thought that with the lack of local info, i would try Chapel St leonards. I've fished it before a few years ago, so hopefully its going to be productive, will let you know how...

Hi, rumour is they are ok for flatties, usually in estuaries where they get washed out from the bank. Can't say if they would work from the beach..Cheers.Mick

Spoke to Royboy yesterday, no mention of whiting in the river from him, but showing on the Holderness coast. If the river fishes like the last 3 years its a lottery, you might catch the odd whiting/codling this winter. Cheers..Mick

Boat fishing from, Scabby, Brid, or Whitby

Hi, can anyone give me the number or details for a decent boat out of Scabby, Brid, or Whitby. My son and nephew want to try boat fishing, and i want to make sure i take them with a good skipper, and have the best chance of catching. :D Cheers...Mick
