Hi. Welcome to the forum. You might want to try Aldburgh (not sure spelling is 100%), Orfordness, Lowestoft, Hembsy Ipswich etc. All good venues. Try using the search button on the top right corner of the page to search for these venues. Stayed at an Army barracks in Thetford, good memories! Long ti...

Gimmick.......I use a small nail on a bit of wood in my garden, when I make my rigs outside. Inside I use the little hook thing in the wall that my Venetian blind string wraps around..(hang swivel off of one end, tie lead link to other)

Total cost = 3p for the nail.

Ok maybe, I was a bit harsh in my first assesment. Yes, they may be easy to keep alive in a bucket. However, the point I was trying to make was, is it really neccasary when there are other methods in which to record your catch. Sometimes us anglers are our own worse enemy. What if some anti-angling ...

Might be best if people cannot argue a point without being personal or swearing. As Dan Aykroyd once said, " Just the facts ma'm"

After I posted my views on the other thread, There was a lot of talk about it being ok to kill fish for no reason, as its for charity and surley thats a good cause right? If you want to get up on a soap box and shout that your doing your bit for charity, why not just give money to the RNLI, and stay...

I cannot believe my eyes!!! With all that has been said in the last couple of weeks, regarding fish stocks and the future of our sport. Here we have a reckless waste of fish. If there are say, 100 anglers fishing ,and all catch, surley they cannot guarentee the survivial of all fish (as apposed to c...
