Hi Steve . I'm tempted to agree but reading Sea Angler for more years than i'm willing to admit to they are a regular catch in the Bristol Channel which i've always assumed is a muddy estuary .

Hi all just got back from fishing along from the Ship and Loster . Fished a 3 hook flapper with lug from about 5pm . I fished with my daughters boyfriend . I had 1 founder from a couple of good bites . The boy had nothing . Nice easy fishing with no rigs lost .

Sorry for the late reply but thank you all for the information . The reason for my post was a tackle shop i went to wanted 65p for 20p size crabs which i thought was a bit strong. I don't mind paying that for good size crabs that's why i thought about looking on-line. Once again thanx
