shorty head for penclawdd then follow the road up you will have the estuary on your right hand side all the way for a few miles, then look for a signpost saying llanmadoc, once you are there head towards the 1st caravan site as the 2nd one is closed and i do not how to get to the 3rd site. shorty most probs the same as the last time you went mate, as ive not heard of anything else being caught there try llanmadoc off the rocks in front of the caravans thats where i caught my 5lb bass the weekend #:-S

Cheers poach if you get a chance go there its a great beach with a few good spots. If you don't know where it is its between llangenath (excuse the spelling :( ) and penclawdd in a village called llanmadoc look it up

fished broughton gower yesterday with my mate caught 2 nice flatties in the first 2 hours of the tide then a 5lb bass #:-S

that does sound like a weeverfish more likely to be a lesser weever as they are more like the perch family which also has a big mouth

Went down aberavon beach last night which happens to be my local with my mate, we caught 10 schoolies all around the 1/2lb mark and a whiting 4oz if that, i know they`re not big but at least hits fishing ok. Best place are down by the naval club end, by the end of the prom and opposite the Afan Lido
