portcy was the same today 200 plus people and ther was sh@ left every were had to walk back to the van with my gear and evry one elses crap

hi .just got back there were 213 people who enterd and only 8 fish wayed in first was a bass of 3lb 11oz i was luky enough to com second with a bass of 2lb 1.5 caught at 15:26 cutting it a bit fine comp finished at 15:30 3rd was another bass 2lb then there were 5 flattys going from 1lb 3 down to 14 ...

apparently this year you cant get a spot untill you book in and booking in starts at 08.00 dont no if this is rite or not . stew

is it not a pegged comp then

cheers mate r u fishing the comp im gona dig some lug and rag 2moro had a walk down the castle at low tide the other day and theres a lot of lug casts there .cheers stew

i also found that small baits were better i was putting a small worm and a sliver of mackrel on a 1/0 hook and i was getting a fish a cast afta high tide was better aswell hope this helps .cheers stew

hi joeyp i fish at the end of creek road park in the public car park walk to your right and your in groyn 19 if you chuck a lead out about 50 yds and reel it in slowly you will find a bit of a gully try and cast in to it and you catch go out to far and you dont get half as many bites .hope this help...

hi all fished groyn 19 last night from 7.30 till midnight using a 3 hook flapper baited with maccy squid and rag chucked out obout 40 yds had 6 doggers 3 pout and 5 yting put another rod baited with lug and squid right out and only had one pout had a really good night the rod didnt stop nodding .che...
