Just looking at map of there are you actually cut off at high tide or is the road passable ? Is it worth telling the nightwatchman yr on there or it illegal ?

Always worth giving it a go you never know ... I spose it is like the pirk chasing small fry then hopefully along comes a bigger one to take the pirk lol

I dont think a spinner would give you enough weight to cast .What I have used here and in Norway is to use a pirk as they can be purchased with differnet weights ..Had schoolies and macks so far this way .In Norways had cod on pirk and pollack/macks on feathers ..So it does work .. )))))

Hi welcome ..You have a good few marks on the Thames like on Canvey island (take a look on the Thames forum there is a sticky for marks and pics)... also you have Southend Clacton up to Walton all not too far for you ..Hope this helps ..

Is it best for calmer water for the mackerel ? Been looking at the winds for this week and seem yet again a good blow .If possible to get them in the wind may try this week too ...
