Its just as well because the lugworms are on work to rule as well, Dec and Jan traditionally being the worst months for digging.

Hello A single pennel clipped doown is good for Codling and decent Whiting. All depends on how far out you want to be. For fishing not so far out then a 2 hook flapper is always good. The best way is to keep traces simple as possible, dont be afraid to try different rigs and see what works for you. ...

I just left Yarmouth this morning as I finished my 4 day shift pattern. Now back in Lincs and just been digging lug. Im back at Yarmouth next week so I would be interested to hear how ya get on, (I may fetch my gear)

Hello Mate Get yaself a net kilo of live mussels from the supermarket. open and de - shell them and leave them on some paper on a tray in the fridge overnight. (this helps toughen them up a bit) Just hook 2 or 3 at a time if theyre decent size and bind them with thin bait elastic, much the same way ...
