Hello Steve, I must confess to never owning such wonderfull headlamps, I spent many years in sea match fishing though and the more common headlamp was the tiga from what I could see. but as you know they are both top of the range headlamps which are very similer with blinding light!

Hello, your best bet is to walk along the beach at the base of hengistbury head and walk up to the head casting out as you go, over many years of fishing for mackerel we have had much success with this method and couple of years back I caught 160! Hi madfisher, I used to live at Norley Wood as a kid about 3 to 4 miles from Lymington so I spent a fair bit of my time there and went to Priestlands school.

I thought the saying was if you want to go sea fishing you fished from the shore and if you wanted to actually catch fish you went fishing from a boat :lol: or something like that :lol: ....... so according to the numbers most dont want to catch fish just go fishing :lol:
